Kim Albarella is an innovative, strategic security leader within ADP’s Global Security Organization, where she specializes in amplifying ADP’s go-to-market, “security as a differentiator” strategy and enabling a culture of secure, educated behaviors amongst ADP’s 60,000 employees and 125 countries.
Currently, as the Senior Director of Security Advocacy Programs, and reporting directly to the Corporate Vice President and Chief Security Officer, she has strategic and operational oversight for:
- Internal and external security relations
- Security culture and education
- Security business development and sales/marketing
- Client security advocacy
Kim’s risk, audit and compliance expertise, combined with years of leadership and communications experience enable her to achieve business results while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. She drives continuous innovation and improvement into the status quo while leveraging her ability to build relationships with others and providing top-notch service to stakeholders.
Outside of ADP, Kim’s passion for educating people on security matters led her to create a security blog, SecuriShe, focused on providing women and families with real-time and easy-to-understand news and tips to keep them safe. SecuriShe is a labor of love that has sparked educational series, community sessions and discussions about security topics.
Kim joined ADP in 2011 as an Executive–In–Training in the Internal Audit Department. She was quickly promoted to Director of Risk Strategy, where she spent two years helping build ADP’s Enterprise Risk Management framework, changing the way ADP leadership thinks about brand–impacting risks. In 2014, she took on the role of Director of Global Operations and Compliance Internal Audit where she was responsible for leading a global team of auditors to provide value-added solutions and insights to the business.
Kim has also added tremendous value to ADP by spending three years on the Finance Advisory Board and as Vice President of Adelante, ADP’s Hispanic Business Resource Group. In these functions, she drove programs to promote communication and engagement for associates.
Prior to joining ADP, Kim performed Audit, Risk, Compliance and Technology functions at Morgan Stanley, Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch. She holds multiple certifications including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Risk Manager (CRMA).
Kim holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Communications from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from The College of New Jersey.
