FOSTER CITY, Calif., March 21, 2019— Agari, the next-generation Secure Email Cloud that restores trust to the inbox, today announced its Spring ’19 Release, the latest quarterly code update for the Agari Secure Email Cloud™. Spring ’19 introduces significant new features in Agari Brand Protection™ to support the adoption of Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI), and a new mobile app that works with Agari Continuous Detection and Response to allow 24/7 real time threat response from anywhere in the world.
“The Spring ’19 Release demonstrates our commitment to continuous innovation across the Agari Secure Email Cloud,” said Pat Peterson, Founder and CEO of Agari. “Major enhancements including Agari’s easy-to-use workflow for BIMI logo display plus a new mobile app for rapid response of inbound email threats helps Agari customers do their jobs better.”
Enhanced BIMI Management
Brand Indicators for Message Identification is an industry-wide standard that inserts brand logos into receiver inbox messages to provide a visual assurance of email authenticity. BIMI also provides marketers with a powerful new vehicle to place their corporate brands in front of customers and consumers.
Spring ’19 enhancements to Agari Brand Protection empower brands to automate the process of implementing, managing and hosting BIMI logos and records, providing control over the branded logos displayed by participating email service providers. In advance of the Spring ‘19 Release, Agari is making a free BIMI record generator and lookup tool available for public use, allowing individual businesses to create their own BIMI record or look up their existing BIMI logo.
Continuous Detection and Response Mobile App
Agari Continuous Detection and Response is a new technology that was recently announced at RSA Conference 2019. This new innovation from Agari extends the coverage and effectiveness of the Agari Secure Email Cloud, preventing data breaches by using newly discovered threat intelligence, plus predictive AI and machine learning technology to detect and automatically remove latent threats from email inboxes.
Spring ’19 introduces a mobile application that enables organizations to receive push notifications about security incidents and actionable threats identified by the Agari SOC Network™, a new cyber intelligence sharing network comprised of Agari customer SOC teams, the Agari Cyber Intelligence Division (ACID), and best-of-breed machine readable threat intelligence feeds.
Agari Continuous Detection and Response automatically takes action by removing malicious messages from all inboxes in seconds, alerting the SOC team and eliminating the potential data breach. The app provides the user with key details, such as why Agari identified the message as a threat and the indicators of compromise, allowing them to quickly understand the incident and its potential impact on their organization. The Agari mobile app’s push notifications enable SOC analysts to quickly address threats outside of the office without requiring them to disrupt time with their family and friends.
Agari Spring ’19 Release updates will be available to all Agari customers in April, 2019.
